Sharon Ann Terry
Sharon Ann Terry born July 14, 1946, passed away peacefully after a long illness on December 11th.
She leaves behind her devoted friend and caregiver, Carol and rescue dog Boo. Aunt Pansy Johnson of Little Rock, AR; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents,William and Reba (Herron); Terry, and her brothers Larry and Joe.
Sharon was born in St. Louis, Missouri. She graduated from Fairview High School in Jennings, Mo. Where she was voted most athletic in her class and was the Student body President and sang in the a cappella choir. She also attended Arkansas State.
Retired from the United States postal service in 1999, after 32yrs. where she began as a letter carrier, and later became Postmaster of various local offices, including De Soto, Mo., and O’Fallon, Mo. (1991), where she helped dedicate the current postal office building, built in 1993.
Sharon enjoyed watching all sports, her favorite team being the St. Louis Cardinals. She loved animals and adopted dogs all of her life.
Sharon never met a stranger and was a master at making you laugh and was always putting the attention on you, even when she was at her sickest.
Sharon requested that there be no service, but if you would like to donate to a charity in her name, among her favorites were,
St. Jude Children’s , Billy Graham Evangelists Assoc. and Open Door Animal rescue, or charity of your choice.
Sharon will be missed.

Sharon, what fun we had! WS STL vs KC, watching and listening to our Cardinals! Watching the Denver Broncos! The Colorado tour was memorable for sure! So many great memories to cherish my friend. RIP dear Sharon.
Sharon leaves many friends and family. She will truly be missed. In our thoughts and prayers.
