I am still in shock that my dear Aunt Eugenia was called by God to be with him in Heaven. I loved my Aunt dearly. She would do anything for her family. She was a role model for all women. She had a twinkle in her eyes and a warm loving smile. I am so happy that I saw her in September at my Dad’s 90th birthday at her childhood homeplace. My condolences to her sweet husband and wonderful family.
Gene and family. I am so very sorry for your loss. Met Eugene and Eugenia at Washington University. Such wonderful people. will keep you all in my prayers.
Gene and family, the kids and I were so saddened to hear that aunt Genie had passed away. Our prayers and thoughts are with all of you for this terrible loss. Genie was always such a sweet and loving woman, she always loved to see the kids and talk about what great kids you and her had. I know she will be warmly welcomed into heaven and will get to see her parents and Dodi and all the rest of the brothers. We hope to come by to see you on Saturday depending on the weather.

I know she will be greatly missed by you, and all the many friends that she had.I know she will be welcomed warmly into heaven where she will be reunited with her parents and all her siblings. I hope to come by Saturday to see all of you hopefully the weather will cooperate, you are all in my thoughts and prayers.
My sincerest condolences go out to the Steffens family. “The span of our life is 70 years, or 80 if one is especially strong “ (Psalms 83:10). She will be missed, her love and memories will be forever remembered. May all draw strength from God Almighty.
I send my love and prayers to you all; Uncle Gene, my cousins and their wives and children. Aunt Eugenia’s love, affection and sense of humor always made me feel special. Once when she visited she gave me an eskimo kiss. I will always cherish my memories of our loving Aunt Genie.
I pray that our Lord will give you ‘peace that transcends all understanding’.
