Michelle Bass-Williams (née Ferrante)
BASS-WILLIAMS, MICHELLE (NEE FERRANTE) Taken into God’s grace October 12, 2025 at the age of 66 years old.
Michelle was born June 2, 1959 in St. Louis Missouri to the late Jack and Ruth (nee Love) Ferrante
Beloved wife of 37 years to Michael Williams; loving mother of David (Jamie) Bass; Cherished grandmother of Dylan Michael Richards, Camden Ray Bass; dear sister to Kimberly (Ferrante) Krug and the late Michael Ferrante; aunt to Justin Wade (Susan) Krug, Gabrielle Nicole Ferrante. She was a niece, cousin and dear friend to many.
Among Michelle’s joys was the birth of her grandson, Camden. She always counted it a blessing that she was able to spend the time with him that she did. She also loved opening her home to friends and family. Michelle was always a gracious hostess and made sure everyone was taken care of with a full plate and glass. She really knew how to entertain. She and the Ya Ya’s had a Red Hat Society and had a great time with all the birthdays and holiday tea parties.
Michelle received the gift of a double lung transplant on December 9, 2012. As a result, she was active in the charitable organization Second Wind Lung Association of St. Louis and was their Vice President for three years. Michelle had a variety of jobs in her life, starting with the Ferguson Ben Franklin and included servicing student loans in the positions of Sales & Marketing Student Loans (Mercantile) and Manager Loan Origination (MOHELA).
Per Michelle’s wishes, there will not be a funeral service or visitation, but a celebration of life next year at a yet to be determined location and time.
The family would like to thank the compassionate staff at de Greeff House for the wonderful care and treatment of their family member, Michelle.

Michelle will always be a treasure…many happy memories from visiting and listening to Mike’s band rehearse in the basement, Spring Training in Florida, Mary Lynn and all of us eating David’s Halloween candy, to helping you move into your home and surprising Mike on his birthday.
So happy I worked at Child Center of Our Lady Of Grace and met you and ML which led to cherished memories.❤️🙏
