Dustin “Dusty” Edward Dossey
In Loving Memory of Dustin “Dusty” Edward Dossey
May 15, 1994 – September 1, 2026
Dustin Edward Dossey, lovingly known to everyone who knew him as Dusty, passed away on September 1, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of memories, laughter, and love that will forever remain in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him.
Dusty was truly one of a kind. He was funny, bright, thoughtful, kind, gentle, and deeply loving. He had a gift for making people laugh, often when they needed it most, and a heart that cared deeply for the people around him. He may not have always been the one to put his feelings into words, but those who knew him best never had to question how much he loved his family and the people closest to him. His love was often found in the little things—in his presence, his humor, his loyalty, and the way he simply showed up.
Dusty never liked staying in one place for too long. He had a restless spirit, an adventurous heart, and a love for the open road. It wasn’t unusual for him to pack up his things and head somewhere new, following wherever life—or his heart—called him. He found his way through many places and chapters throughout his life, but no matter how far he traveled or how often he moved, he never allowed distance to separate him from the people he loved. He stayed in touch, checked in, and always found his way back.
Above all else, Dusty was an incredible uncle. To his nieces and nephews, he was someone truly special. To his sister Bailey, he was the kind of uncle she could only have hoped her children would have. The love he had for them was genuine, unconditional, and unmistakable. He created memories with them that will be treasured for the rest of their lives, and his place in their hearts will never be filled. As they grow older, they will carry his memory with them in countless moments, stories, and reminders of the love he gave them.
Dusty leaves behind a family who loved him beyond words: his father, Randy Dossey; his mother, Angela Dossey; his sisters, Bailey Dossey and Sheraden Dossey; his brothers, Andrew Dossey and Brandon Dossey; his three beloved children; his cousin, Kristy Bailey; and Zachary Cavazos and Naylan Walters, who were also deeply loved and cherished by Dusty.
Though Dusty’s journey took him to many places throughout his life, perhaps the most lasting place he ever made was in the hearts of the people who loved him.
Dusty has now found his way home to Heaven, where he is reunited with his beloved Grandmom and Granddad. While his life was far too short, the love he gave, the laughter he brought, and the memories he created will live on through everyone who had the privilege of loving him.
He will be missed more than words can ever express, remembered more than he could ever know, and loved for a lifetime and beyond.

You remain my bestfriend, always. Save me a place next to the sun.
I miss you brother, wish I would of talked to you and spent more time with you, I do miss all the times walking around in neighborhood just hanging out, we truly like brothers if you seen one of us the other wasn’t to far behind. I love and miss you, until we meet again and raise hell up stairs!
Oh man. So sad to hear this, I was just thinking about you the other day. I loved hanging out with you during the girls travel ball games and climbing up and inside empty buildings in parking lots. Riding with you in the trucks around the parking lot, made me want a truck of my own in the future. You were my best friend in Vegas. I only lived there a short time, so you made a huge difference In my life. I know you’re an angel watching over those you love now. Miss you Dusty.
I remember when Aunt Ang first brought you home as a baby. The bathroom they converted to a bedroom, just for you. How adorable and sweet you were as a kid. Of course, that’s not to say you weren’t sweet as a teenager, but maybe the orneriness just a little bit. I cannot remember the last time but every now and then I did wonder how you were doing and ask Aunt Ang or Kristy about you over the years. You are resting easy now in a place we all strive to be.
