Timothy Charles Dellert
Timothy Charles Dellert
Tim was born in St. Louis, Missouri on June 28, 1950 and passed away, while wearing his Cardinal baseball cap, on January 18, 2014. Tim was preceded in death by his loving parents, Charles O. “Charley” and Gertrude “Gerty” (nee Echtle) Dellert. He will be greatly missed by his aunt/godmother Rita Echtle Helfrich, eleven first cousins and their spouses, numerous “nieces” and “nephews” who called him Uncle Tim and his friends.
Tim served his country and received an honorable discharge from the Army. He worked as Contract Business Analyst and lived for a time in Northhampton in England. He was a great fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and told great stories. As the recipient of a kidney transplant in 2008, he was a proponent of organ donation.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated on February 7, 2014 at 11 AM at Our Lady of Providence Catholic Church, 8866 Pardee Rd., Crestwood, MO 63123. Following the Mass, Tim’s cremains will be interred at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery at 1:00 PM.
Donations to the PKD Foundation, veterans’ organizations focused on health and well-being, or St Vincent de Paul Society would be appreciated. Each has been very helpful to Tim these last few years.
We’ll miss you Cuz. GO CARDS!
Tim,
You were a great guy, you were kind, generous and funny. I have fond memories of you in the pits at Beamish and eating fish & chips out of the wrapper at Whitby. Trying understand what my grandad was saying as you hadn’t got a clue because of his accent.
You will be missed but it’s reassuring that you are looking down on us with that big smile of yours…
Goodnight God bless xx
If roses grow in heaven Lord, please pick a bunch for me, and place them in my loved one’s arms and say they’re sent from me!!

All my love as always, Kathy Jo Sisson/Salazar.
I have such fond memories of you. I truly appreciated your taking Iain and I to his London Scottish trial. A real friend. And the top of the meow sitting in my garage cause it was more fun without it. Rest peacefully. Goodnight x
