She donated not only her time working the floods but cooking and serving the volunteers. Pat was instrumental in the early stages of forming the now famous Strawberry and Apple Butter festivals. Pat continued her service until her passing. She was known to the children of Kimmswick as their second mom and grandma.

Other than volunteering she enjoyed spending time with family, going to bingo, fishing, and all outdoor fun. She always enjoyed her life with her family and friends.

She is survived by her five sons Harvey (Paula Blum) Reno, William (Kelly Ary) Reno, Rick (Patty Gierer) Reno, Gary Reno and Walter Ray House; eleven (11) grandchildren and multiple great grandchildren; her sister Mary A. (Jones) Monehan, brother Warren J Jones, step brother Ralph Bates, her brother in law Floyd Harris; many nieces and nephews and loving neighbors and friends. She was preceded in death by her Husband Harvey E. Reno; one sister Carol (Jones) Harris; one brother-in-law L.C. Monehan; and step-brother Robert Bates.

Her memorial celebration will held January 2nd, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Church in Imperial, Missouri- led by Deacon Brian Selsor (also of Kimmswick).

Pat Reno touched so many lives, she will truly be missed. In lieu of flowers donations to Sister Christine’s food pantry would be appreciated.
