Born on November 10, 1915 in Bernie Missouri to Rozetta (Medler) and Rudolph Stafford. These were difficult times with a scarcity of money and material things. Even so, Anglene grew up “rich” in her strong belief of the “Lord” and the values of providing help and support to her family. She would always praise the Lord and selflessly work to preserve the spiritual and physical well-being of her family. She taught Sunday School, married Dale Delp, and moved to St. Louis, where she had five children (two deceased), nine grandchildren and twenty two great grandchildren.
Anglene devoted her life towards being there for others. She taught us the true meaning of love, respect, trust, care-giving, honesty and hard work. Always there to help others, she would consistently and energetically give whatever help that was needed, never giving up on anything or anyone and always giving thanks and praise to the Lord regardless of the outcomes.
She was, and will always be the spiritual life-blood and life-line for our family. We are her heritage and we are proud of it.
The lasting memory of Anglene Delp should include the unconditional love she had, lived, and portrayed for the Lord and for each member of her family.
