Dorothy Lee Tate was born on January 9, 1928 to loving parents, Dixie
George & Alex Tate. She was later married and took on the name Dorothy
White.

Dorothy had one daughter to precede her in death, Doris White, and two
grandsons, Stanley White and Willie Hodges as well as her parents.

Dorothy was a God-fearing woman. She attended Prince of Peace Church
faithfully for 25 years. She was a hard worker. Dorothy recognized the
importance in family early on in her life. She maintained strong
relationships with all family and friends.

Dorothy was very outspoken and opinionated, which made her fun to be
around.

On September 14, 2009 the Lord called for her to come home. She will be
cherished and lovingly remembered by her daughter, Delores Muhammad,
Stacie White, Sidney White, Renee Withers, Denise Withers
(grandchildren), a host of great grand children,other relatives and many
friends.
