Edward "Gene" Lewis passed away at the age of 84 at his home on Friday, November 6th, 2009. He is survived by his beloved wife Bonnie L. Lewis, his children Cindy (Fred) Turner, Patrick (Sandi) Lewis, and Bonnie Gene Lewis, his granddaughter Christine Saucerman, his great grandchildren Alec, Bryce and Cayla, and his pets Esmerelda and Patch. He was preceded in death by his son Edward Lewis Jr.

Services for Edward will be held at the St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, located at 4714 Clifton, St. Louis, MO 63109 on Monday, November 16th, 2009 at 3:00 pm with a reception to follow. In leiu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to Project Peanut Butter, 7435 Flora Avenue, Maplewood, MO 63143.

    Bonnie and Bee Gee, know that you are both in our thoughts and prayers at this very sad time of the loss of your dear husband and father. We love Gene and valued him as a true friend.
