Eva Hoth

Of Cuba, MO, and St Peters, MO, this past year, died peacefully on Saturday May 29, 2010, at the age of 88. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Paul Hoth in 2005. Eva emigrated from Budapest, Hungary, and became an American citizen in 1950. She retired after thirty years as an Interior Decorator longest at Holscher Wernig, St Louis. She loved cooking, gardening, and collecting fine arts and glassware. She and Paul had a happy retirement puttering around Cuba and the vicinity everywhere inseparably. You could rarely visit the Hoth’s without being offered food and drink. We will miss her accent, tireless energy and willful fiery personality. She made everyone believe you could do anything you set your mind to.

She is survived by her children; Aniko Florian, Z. Peter Florian and, Ildiko Solly; daughter-in-law Jackie Florian; Grandchildren Jennifer Dusin, Michael Januskevicius, Drew Florian, Brian Florian, Daniel Florian, Anli Solly, Meilan Solly as well as two great grandchildren. Her stepchildren; Pamela Stolten, Deborah Gutbier and Jacqueline Morrill and their spouses and families have always been kind and supportive. She has had many supportive and loving friends in Cuba, MO, and recently in her last year in St. Peters too numerous to mention. We wish to thank them all for their kindness and sometimes patience. We will miss her dearly.

Services: Memorial service will be at Oak Tree Village Retirement Community, 363 Jungerman Rd., St Peters, MO 63376 on Saturday June 19, 2010, at 11 AM. Internment will be at Kinder Cemetery, Cuba, MO on Sunday June 20th with family.
