Francis Hennis
age 94, was fortified with the Sacraments of the Holy Mother Church on January 4, 2012. Preceded in death by his late wife of 63 years, Jane Hennis. Beloved father of Dan (Darlene) Hennis, Jim (Donna) Hennis, Jan (Pat) Green, Debbie (Steve) Unterreiner, Pattie (Matt) Henson, and Mike (Sherri) Hennis; cherished grandfather of 14 and dear great-grandfather of 10.
Services: A Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, January 11th at 10am at St. Margaret Mary Alacoque Catholic Church. It’s been years since I spoke to my friend, Chess. It was a long conversation as he described his present home and the many deer he saw passing through his property and the neighbors. I believe he appreciated his home. Chess paid me to help, him in his roofing business. He enjoyed Los Vegas trips, both winning and losing. He was proud of his fireman job and those he worked with. He loved his beagles and completion. Chess was well respected in his beagling activities as a winner. He was an influencer to more than me. I interrupted him in prayer one day, thinking he was ill. He wasn’t happy about it either. Chess was a praying man, for sure.
