Hannah “Patricia” Wendt

 Wendt, Hannah Mae Patricia Born in Mocksville, NC. October 30, 1923, died January 8, 2012 at 88. The daughter of the late James Raleigh Frost and Johanna Mae nee Lynch Frost; wife of the late Roy James Wendt; sister of the late James D. Frost, Marian D. Allen, Stella Rust, Quintin R. Frost. Survived by brother Col. John R. Frost and daughters, Connie Nordman (John); Carol Kendall (John); Eileen Forsberg (Michael); Kathleen Rethemeyer (Daniel). Grandmother of 10; great-grandmother of 9; great-great-grandmother of 5. Pat, known as the hat lady, was a Rosie the Riveter in WWII. She loved music: cabaret, show tunes, and Johnny Mathis. She seldom missed an opportunity to sing a few lines and encouraged others to join in. In her later years her grandchildren joyfully sang along, which brought a smile to her face. Services: Memorial Service on January 22, 2012, 1 p.m. at Unity Church of Peace, 3701 Bayless Ave., St. Louis, MO. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Friends of the SLU Liver Center and The Susan G. Komen for the Cure .

    Fond memories of you will linger with us for the rest of our lives. From our dating years as teens in St. Louis to our now “golden years,” you have meant so much to us and will forever remain in our hearts.

    So sorry about the loss of your mom.We were out of the country for the memorial service. She was a special lady and we are so glad we got to visit with her again at the Wendt reunion.Our prayers and thoughts have been with your family.
