Jack Miller

Jack B. Miller of Ballwin, MO, passed away October 3, 2011 at age 86. Devoted husband of 60 years to Millie (nee Scott) and loving father to Debbie Armstrong (Jan), Steve Miller (Gloria), Susan Watkins (Elbe), Karen Schenkelberg (Paul) and Claudia Froberg (Keir).  He leaves a wonderful legacy in his grandchildren and great-grandchild: Nicholas Watkins (Rhianna), Alan Armstrong, David Armstrong, Lauren Miller, Jennifer Schenkelberg, Kevin Schenkelberg, Hannah Watkins, Andrew Miller, Sarah Watkins, MacEgan Froberg, Iain Froberg, Braeden Froberg, and Arlo Mathias-Watkins. Dear uncle, brother-in-law and friend to so many.

A WWII veteran who served in the Philippines, Jack was awarded the Bronze Star.  An avid reader and camera buff, Jack enjoyed tinkering with all kinds of mechanical items.  He expanded his knowledge through the years via hands-on repairs and refurbishing of everything from tube radios to personal computers.  A natural wit, his commentary on life and politics always amused and entertained while highlighting his insight and awareness of the human spirit.
