I did not meet you Jane, face to face in this life but I will meet you in Heaven next to our Lord. You gave me courage when I needed it most. You gave my son your phone number and told him I could call you. and I did. I was diagnosised with breast cancer on 2.5.09. You were so sweet to me and helped me accept the cancer with hope and courage. My son thought the world of you for the short time that he knew you.
To the family, I am so sorry for your loss.
    Love in Jesus’ name.

I will miss our visits. If there were more people like Jane, the world would be a much better place. Keep the spirit of Jane in your lives. She will be greatly missed. JR

I met Jane in 1989 on my first day at Arch and she was such a caring person with a heart of gold. She will be missed by many and remembered fondly by all those that knew her. We had many talks over the years about our sons, my brothers cancer and about life. She fought hard to beat the cancer beast and along the way helped many others. My condolences to Jim and Jonathon. I will never forget Jane and that smile she always had.

I met Jane in 1974 wnen I was a freshman at UMSL. We worked together in the library and for a year Jane and I, along with Jo Anne Weinhold and Mary Cardinale, lived together in a townhouse by school. Great times! I will always remember Jane’s beautiful smile and upbeat personality. I will miss her always. My condolences to Jim and Jonathan; she loved you both very much.

Prayers are with you and your family.

I haven’t worked at Arch Coal long, but what I will always remember of Jane is she always had a smile. My mother was diagnosed with cancer this year, and Jane offered to have a conversation with Mom. Mom called Jane and through that conversation Jane comforted Mom on beginning her journey with cancer.

    Sincerely,
    Joe Swan
