Martz, John Charles, Jr., 66, of Ladue, MO and Genesee, CO, August 8, 2010. Beloved husband of Candace Conley Martz, formerly of Midland, TX; loving father of Jennifer (Ted) Hagan, Genesee, CO; and Lauren (Justin) Lienemann, Ballwin; dear grandfather of John Joseph Hagan; beloved son of Dr. John Charles Martz, Sr. and the late Margaret (Peggy) Gebert Martz; stepson of Mary Katherine Martz; dear brother of Elizabeth Martz. Born in Evansville, IN. Graduated Webster Groves High School, where he was an all-state basketball player. Graduated Northwestern University where he played for the Wildcats, and St. Louis University School of Law. He retired in 2009, after 37 years, from Anheuser-Busch, where he was vice president of corporate real estate. Memorial service to be held at 10am, Tuesday, August 10 at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, 110 N. Warson Rd. in Ladue. Friends will be received following the service in the church vestibule.
