Jon Kalupa

The Kalupa family is joined together in sorrow and remembrance of Jon Raymond Kalupa, who has left us at the age of 48 years old after suffering from a long term illness.

Jon was born September 18, 1962 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Rosalie and Ronald Kalupa. Jon and his family moved to the St. Louis, Missouri area in 1965 where he attended Saint Monica’s Catholic School, Ross Elementary and Parkway North High School. He also attended classes at Meramac Community College.

A quiet, modest and thoughtful son, brother, uncle, nephew, and cousin, Jon will always be remembered for his generous heart.

Jon was happiest enjoying the outdoors and fishing. He loved traveling the United States and abroad.

Jon is survived by his parents Ronald and Rosalie, his Aunt Cellene Byrne and husband Brian, his sister Valerie Kalupa and husband Frank Sager, niece Rae, his brother, Glenn Kalupa and wife Janet, nephew Nathan and niece Bailey, and cousins Kelly, Melissa, Amy, Molly, Katy and Breann.

A memorial service is pending.

We want to tell you how sorry we are for your loss. May it comfort you to know that my family is thinking of you and your family at this difficult time. Jon was such a special person, and we will miss him and his thoughtful Christmas cards. Our prayers are with you and Jon.

Thank you for sharing the beautiful pictures of Jon. He seemed so happy to be traveling. I talked to him on the past year – he was looking for updated addresses for his Christmas Cards – he was so very thoughtful that way. I will always remember his kindness. Our thoughts, love and prayers go out to all of you. Thank you for the honor of being included as part of his family. May the love and peace of the Lord always be with him. Love, Missy, John, Megan, Sam and Gabe

We have been thinking and praying for your entire family. Although we didn’t see Jon often, there is an important connection between cousins and he will always hold a special place in our hearts. Thank you for sharing the wonderful pictures. Much Love, Katy and Nelson

I truly loved all of the pictures – thank you for sharing them. I am so sorry for your loss and have been thinking and praying for all of you during this most difficult time. I have also been taking time to remember and talk about my cousin Jon – the visits when we were kids, the first Christmas card we would receive every year and memories of his kindness. We send all our love.
