Beloved step-father of Kimberly Jones (Tom); dear brother of Edward Shields, Thomas Shields (Janie), Andy Anderson (Kathy), the late Jack Anderson (Carolyn), Linda Smith (Jack), Barbara Guy (nee Shields)(Robert), Nancy Johnson (nee Shields), and Patsy Kolwick (Joe). Also dear uncle, great uncle, great great uncle, and dear friend to so many.
My heart goes out to all of you. Just know that Richard is in his heavenly home where no more tears are shed. He is in the loving arms of his heavenly father.

I was 16 and crazy about you ! You saved your money, bought an initial ring, gave to me to go steady. I accidentally flushed it down the toilet but my Dad bought you a new one. Ran away one night but my parents first went to your house and there I was downstairs with you and your brother Tommy. I can’t believe that you are gone. I hope you had a good life. ♥️
