Ruth Lang

Ruth Jeanette Wright Lang, loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, sister-in-law and friend to all, she always had a smile on her face for everyone, passed away Thanksgiving Day, November 24, 2011,  from complications of a fractured hip.  Jean was born October 22, 1924 in St. Louis to Anvil and Mary Wright.  She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother Glenn Wright, and sisters Lois Garland and Jo Ann Gabriel, and is survived by her beloved and loving husband of 64 years, John D. Lang of Florissant, son John Lang and wife Betty, daughter Janet Lang Campbell and husband Dennis, grandchildren Russell Lang and Susan Lang Damasco and husband Victor, and great-grandchildren Donovan and Ginger Damasco.  Her life, one of early loss and lessons of growing up with hardship, taught us gratitude and responsibility; her determination and untiring love exemplified for her family a strength and openness to life and its opportunities and challenges that comforts us now as we grieve her passing. She loved her family so much. Jean also loved to travel, anywhere. Favorite spots where to the mountains and the ocean where she would water ski, snorkel, whale watch, swim with the Dolphins and Stingray’s and dance with her husband John.  Know your playing and walking with Missi again, your beloved dog.  Your at peace now. We will all love and miss you forever.  A private family "Celebration of Jean’s Life" will be held at a later date  .In Lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer’s Associations.
