Shirley Perryman

Shirley was born in St. Louis City on December 2nd, 1933 to Mabel and Leo Louis. Shirley is survived by her children Duke, Michael, Donna, Scott and Darren along with her siblings, Marilyn, Betty and Bob. Shirley worked as a Security Officer at Emerson Electric until she retired in February, 1996. She loved to play pool and spoil her pet Chihuahua “Cha Chi”.  She enjoyed Cardinals Baseball and Rams Football and often collected sports memorabilia, which she would pass out at different occasions such as birthdays, etc. Her number one priority throughout her life was to her children. Often she made sacrifices herself so they would not be without. Shirley always wanted to return to Florida because she “Just hated the cold”. She finally has her wish as her remains will travel to Orlando, Fl. where she wanted to be.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Sugar Tree Club House, 11092 Sugartrail Drive, St. Louis, Mo, 63136 on October 8th from 2:00 to 5:00. All are invited to attend.

My heart goes out to the family of Shirley Perryman. She had a long struggle but finally lost her battle with cancer on 9/24/11. See you on the other side!

So sorry for your loss. Shirley was a great person, lady and friend. Family was always first in her mind. We have fished together, played cards, pool, worked, cryed, shared many a story and cup of coffee. Shirley would tackle any job!! A grand grand memory that I will always cherish. Peace to you my friend and to your much loved family……….

I worked with your mom, here at Emerson. She always talked about her sons and the houses she has owned. She was a good friend and mentor.
She will be missed. May God bless you all and comfort you through the Holy Spirit.

Shirley was my True Friend. We had many wonderful times together. She was warmhearted, kind, and lovable. I will greatly miss her. My sisters call her Cha Chi’s Mom. Her Dog was like one of her children.
