William Kinworthy
William A. (Bill) Kinworthy, 67, of Caseyville, IL. Born February 4, 1944, in Granite City, IL., lost his battle with cancer on Sunday, May 15, 2011. He passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loved ones. Bill proudly served in the United States Navy, was a diesel mechanic for Laidlaw Transit, and retired in 2007. Bill was an avid Harley rider who loved to ride the open road. He was a loving father, grandfather, and dedicated friend.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles T. Woodside and Viola Woodside; his wife Alma, nee Faughn, Kinworthy; his biological father, Mitchell A. Kinworthy; and his biological mother, Elizabeth Josephine, nee Warren, Willauby.
Surviving are his two sons, Donald R. Kinworthy (Barb) of Maryville, IL., Ronald E. Kinworthy of Caseyville, IL.; two daughters, Cindy S. nee Kinworthy, Krehbiel (Ted) of Collinsville, IL., Candy L. Kinworthy (Craig Beach) of Swansea, IL. Four grandchildren, Nicholas R. Kinworthy, Meagann N. Kinworthy, Saddie F. Krehbiel, and Sydney J. Krehbiel; three sisters, Betty (Vern) Hazelwood of Mission, TX, Peggy (Frank) Lewis of Collinsville, IL., Judy (Larry) Hamilton of Vergennes, IL.; one brother, Robert Woodside of Caseyville, IL.; two half-brothers, Tony Willauby and Johnny Willauby; one biological sister, Pat Stoker; many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends; and his girlfriend, Glenda Cox of Granite City, IL.

Visitation: Friends may call from 1:30 pm to 5:00 pm on Wednesday, May 18, 2011, at Faith Ministries Center, 8861 Botanical, Caseyville, IL. A memorial service will be held at the church from 4:15 pm to 5:00 pm.
Funeral: Service will start at 1:00 pm Friday, May 20, 2011 at Faith Ministries Center with a 1:30 pm procession led by the Illinois Patriot Guard to Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO. for a 2:00 pm graveside service.
You will be deeply missed, everyone knew you as grumpy old Bill, but getting to work with you side by side, you were the sweetest person. May you rest in peace.
