Aaron Douglas Howell, lovingly known as “Papa” to many, passed away on Wednesday, December 26, 2017 after a courageous battle with cancer at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.

Aaron was the loving husband of many years to the late Eula Mae, who preceded him in death. Together they had three girls: the late Anna (Bennie Jr.) Ward, Michelle (Josh) Crain and Tyrika (Carla) Howell He also leaves behind to cherish his memory: five grandchildren, Devan Crain, Joscilyn Crain, Bennie Ward III, Sandy Ward and Avery Howell; one great-grandson, Kingsley Crain; a loving sister, Sadie Curry; a host of nieces and nephews whom he loved equal to his own children; as well as his close family friend Sara and the VanHook/Dokes family.

A Memorial Gathering and Celebration will be held for him on Thursday, January 4, 2018, from 1:00-4:00 p.m. at St. Louis Cremation, 2135 Chouteau Ave., St. Louis MO 63103.
