Adam Ryan Lenz
After a two year struggle, on Saturday, July 23 at 9:12 pm, our beloved Adam left this world behind and entered the heavenly realm.
Adam was born on July 14, 1979 in St. Louis, Mo, son of Lou and Denise Lenz.
Adam was a self-employed carpenter at Adam’s Custom Carpentry, specializing in the restoration and rehab of challenging building projects. He lived life to the fullest and packed a myriad of experiences into his short life. He loved all of God’s creation and being outdoors in any season, but especially had a love for winter skiing and snowboarding. Traveling was in his blood, and his travels took him through Alaska, Canada, most of the United States, Mexico, Central and South America, and Europe. He brought a smile to everyone he engaged, either through his outgoing personality, sense of humor, or his infectious smile. His inspiring presence will be missed by all who had the opportunity to cross his path.
He will be missed especially by his loving wife Britain (Sterling), his sweet daughter Ryan, and his son, Maxwell, who is the spitting-image of his dad.
Besides his wife, children, and parents, he is survived by sister Jodi (Jeff) Miller of Columbia, IL, brother, Lou IV of Waterloo, IL, sister Meghan (Ivan) Mercado of Waterloo, IL, sister EJ (Caleb) Ripple of Taylor, TX, sister Manuela Lenz of Springfield, MO, and all his nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and grandmothers.
Friends may visit from 10 to 12 am, Thursday, July 28, at St. Louis Cremation Services, 2135 Chouteau, St. Louis, MO. A memorial service follows immediately at noon.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Britain and her family.
