Albert Heineman

Albert E. “Al” Heineman, 83, passed away peacefully at his home on November 12, 2025.

Born on March 8, 1942, in St. Louis, Missouri, Al was the son of Eugene and Sarah (Austin) Heineman. He spent his career as a proud truck driver and Teamster—hardworking, reliable, and the kind of man who always kept his word.

Al married his childhood sweetheart, the late Barbara (Price) Heineman, on August 26, 1961. The two first met in grade school, and years later, while walking across Hyde Park from opposite directions, he asked her to a movie, and the rest was history. Together they built a beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and family—a partnership that remained the center of his world.

He is survived by his four children: Chris (Kathy) Heineman, Cathy Heineman, David (Heidi) Heineman, and Amy Crawford; seven grandchildren: Heather (Wayne), Stephen, Stephanie (Justin), David, Bradley, Michael, and Sarah; four great-grandchildren: Landon, Remi, Jackson, and Wesley; and his brother, Gene Heineman. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Barbara, his brother, Bill Heineman, and his sister, Joyce Jackson.

Al will be remembered for his unwavering love for family, his sense of humor, and his humble, hardworking spirit. He leaves behind a lifetime of laughter, love, and the enduring example of what it means to show up for the people you care about.

Funeral services will be private.
