Alexander (Alex) John Montgomery, 39, of Maplewood, Missouri, passed away at home on April 25, 2026.  He was born December 27, 1986 in New Haven, Connecticut.

Alex was a graduate of Mehlville High School and Centriq IT Career Program.  Alex worked for GadellNet Consulting Services as a Service Desk Engineer.

Alex was a gentle soul whose love for animals was unparalleled.  He had many interests including D&D, composing music, working on his scooter and reverse engineering famous recipes.  He had a quick wit and wonderful sense of humor and playfulness. He lived life like he liked to cook – with a considerable amount of spice.

He is survived by his wife Mackenzie Wolff-Montgomery; his mother Sabine Fyfe and stepfather Robert Fyfe; brother Kevin (Julietta) Montgomery; sister Katrina Fyfe; brother Ian (Abby) Fyfe; sister Claire Montgomery; sister Audrey Montgomery; stepmother Laura Donovan and animal companions Burger and Bubbles.  Alex was predeceased by his father William A. Montgomery and grandparents Gudrun and Franz Fritz.
