Alice Victor

Alice Ann Victor (née Black) passed away in Shrewsbury, MO, on May 25, 2020, at the age of 84. She was born Dec. 21, 1935, in Tampa, FL, to Clanton C. Black and Cora (Eady) Black. Ann was the loving wife of Geoffrey Victor (1926-2003), mother of Susanne Victor Collins (spouse Homer Collins) and Stephen Victor (spouse Timothy Youngman), and grandmother of Ariana Collins Bush (spouse Kyle Bush). She also dearly loved her great-grandchildren Draiden, Aidan, Rowan, Lachlan, Kieran, and Teagan.

Ann graduated from the Mather School of Nursing, Southern Baptist Hospital, New Orleans, LA, in 1956. She had a long career as a Registered Nurse, most recently at Missouri Baptist Hospital and in home healthcare in FL, until her retirement. She and her husband were for many years members of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Chesterfield, MO, and Grace Presbyterian Church in Ocala, FL. Her Christian faith led her to volunteer for several charitable organizations after retirement. The epitome of a Christian woman, Ann studied her Bible, prayed for her loved ones and the world, and loved everyone. She was kind, thoughtful, and loving. She will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and the countless people whose lives she touched with her healing presence.

A memorial service and interment will be held at the Black family plot in Live Oak, FL, at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in her name to the Parkinson’s Foundation.
