Allen Claude Bancroft, Jr.

Allen Claude Bancroft Jr. passed away on Monday, October 26, 2026, leaving behind family and friends who will forever cherish the memories they shared with him.

He was born on March 13, 1978, in Toledo, Ohio, to Allen Bancroft Sr. and Brenda Fay (née Spradlin) Bancroft.

Allen was a man of integrity whose word could be trusted and whose actions reflected the goodness in his heart. Family was an important part of his life, and he will be deeply missed by all who held him dear. His life became part of their stories, and the love they shared with him will remain in their hearts always.

Allen took great pride in his work on the line in the automobile manufacturing industry. His coworkers knew him as a good man—someone they could always count on to get the job done and lend a helping hand. He was a proud member of the United Auto Workers (UAW), Local 12.

Allen also had a special love for his two dogs, Lana and Buddy, who were faithful companions and an important part of his life. The bond he shared with them brought him comfort and happiness. His love for Lana and Buddy was another reflection of his caring heart. They were more than pets; they were family.

He loved spending time outdoors, especially camping, fishing, and sitting around campfires with family and friends. He also enjoyed riding mountain bikes and ATVs. More recently, he took up a new hobby: buying used bicycles, repairing them, and gifting them to his nephews. Giving was one of the ways Allen expressed his love. He found joy in buying gifts for the people he cared about and was happiest when he could give something to someone else.

Allen is survived by his parents, Allen and Brenda Bancroft; his sisters, April (Harry) Gunther and Robin Ferrari; his daughter, Kaylee Bancroft; and Dylan and Madison Holey, to whom he was a father figure. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, as well as great-nieces and great-nephews.
