The Science Center team is saddened to hear of Amanda’s passing. We remember fondly her time here and beyond her incredible contributions to our blockbuster traveling exhibitions, she encouraged us all to think more deeply about issues in Diversity, Equity, Accessibility, and Inclusion. She forged many strong friendships and has made a lasting impact on both our institution and the people she worked with.

The world has lost an incredible person who had a unique perspective and loved sharing a fun, offbeat humor with her friends on the team. She spoke proudly of her family, her heritage, and her own life’s story that she was writing. Amanda brought an energy with her that was confidently her own, and I hope she inspired others to be more authentically themselves.

Amanda will be missed, and our thoughts are with all of her loved ones during these difficult times.
