Angela Nicole Kiely (Dattoli)

Kiely, Angela Nicole (nee Dattoli), of Saint Louis, MO, entered eternal rest on July 17, 2024.

Angela is survived by her husband, Michael Kiely; daughter, Haley/Hal Looney: son, Nicholas Kiely; father, Nicholas (Bonnie) Dattoli; and granddaughters, Paisley, Sophie, and Ava. She was preceded in death by her mother, Judy (Wilson) Williams; brother, Rick Dattoli; and son, Dylan Looney.

Angela was born on May 9, 1978 to Judy (Wilson) and Nicholas Dattoli in St. Louis, Missouri. She grew up in Camdenton at the Lake of the Ozarks and went to Camdenton Middle & High School where she ran track and field. Despite her small stature, she was a very accomplished runner and received many achievements and awards. She continued her interest in the sport at Southwest Missouri State.

In her early twenties, Angela moved back to St. Louis where she spent most of her career in the food service industry. She was currently working at Bethesda Hawthorne Place as a chef. There she made friends with her fellow colleagues and residents. Angela loved to cook and was amazing in the kitchen. She would experiment making meals at home until she could perfect a dish worthy to be introduced to her residents with special dietary needs. We’ve been told that Angela made a big impact at her work. We know she enjoyed helping others and cooking so her work was a perfect fit for her.

Angela had an amazing amount of passion and drive toward anything she set her mind to. Most recently, she spent her little bit of free time drawing, sketching and refinishing or repurposing old furniture.

What brought Angela the most joy in life was her children and grandchildren. In a questionnaire she recently completed, she expressed that the most important thing to her was their happiness.

Angela will be sadly missed by all the lives she’s touched, especially for leaving us so soon.

                                             Until we meet again.

A celebration of life will be held at Piazza Messina in Cottleville on Thursday, August 15, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. until 8;00 p.m. Come join us for food and drink and remembrance of a life gone too soon.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation)
