Annette Peabody

Annette Marie Peabody 97 of St. Louis died peacefully at the loving home of her son and daughter-in-law on October 8, 2020. The family is forever grateful for the excellent care she received there the last ten weeks of her life and the opportunity her family had to visit with her.

She was born on June 16, 1923 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. On June 8, 1946 she married Charles R. Peabody who preceded her in death on January 31, 2004.

Annette worked as a bookkeeper all of her adult life until retirement in 1987. She and Charlie split their retirement years between Ste. Genevieve Missouri and Naples Florida. She loved to travel, sew, cook, play bridge, entertain and drink martinis.

She is survived by her daughter Jeanne Wunderlich (John); son Robert Peabody (Dianne); five grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

A private family Mass and burial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Seasons Hospice & Palliative Care or St. Louis University High School.

Jeanne i am very sorry for your loss, i enjoyed knowing Annette for almost 2 years when she was a resident at Garden view. She sure loved her mints. I enjoyed talking to you when you visited. My thoughts and prayers go out to you during this time.
