Arnold Anthony Stewart

Arnold Anthony Stewart was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on 01/08/1933 and passed away peacefully at home on Friday (7/16/21).

He served in the US Air Force for 4 1/2 years, followed by 4 years in the National Guard.

He received his Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering at Rolla University.

He worked at McDonnell Douglas as a Flight Test Engineer on the F-18 for 28 years and 8 years at Northrop Grumman in California on the B-2.

He was married to Lydia F Stewart for 68 years and dated her 3 years prior to marriage.

Arnold is survived by son Steven and son David who preceded him in death in 1983.

He is also survived by his sister Kathy (Ray) Smith, nieces Shannon and Allyson, and Anne Macek, nephews Jerry Macek and Joseph Chovanec, sister-in-law Georgean and many other nieces and nephews.

Mass will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cottleville on Tuesday (7/27/21) at 11:00am followed by a luncheon.

Donations can be made to Best Friends Stray Rescue, Humane Society or American Cancer Society.
