left this life on Sunday, October 30, 2016. Loving husband of Margaret Louise [nee Skaggs] of 51 years. Dear father of Kevin [deceased], Gregory [Carrie], Stephen [Laura], and Bruce. Dear Grandfather of Hope, Austin, Joseph and Lilly. Great grand-father of Aria Rose. Son of the late Arlie Clarence Benton and Ruby Marie [nee Bates] Benton. Dear brother of 11 siblings.
Arnold loved his grand children, fishing and camping.
Service with visitation will be on Friday, November 4th, 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of St. Louis Cremation, Jungerman Road, St. Peters location.

We were so sorry to hear about your great loss.. Your dad was an incredible man. Amoung the streets of heaven he walks upright and no longer in pain. May his love and memories fill your hearts with great love and comfort. We love you all.
Dear family, I want you all to know how sorry we are to hear of Uncle Dick. Literally until now didn’t know he was a Arnold Stephen??. I’m sure I knew when I was younger but you know how it is when you get older memory is not as it used to be. Please tell Aunt Louise how much I love her and am praying.

Dick you Always greeted me with a smile n showed me to be greatfull for what you have. You will be missed by us all .to the family in your time of grief hopefully you will reflect on all the things youve fogotten that made him so great . And grant us peace.
Was so sorry to hear of Dick’s passing . I have many fond memories of camping and hunting with he and Greg . Dick was always quick with a joke or funny story and could really get you laughing.He will be truly missed.
i am very sorry to hear about your lost, i know he has enter the kingdom of god. dick was a kind man. he used to come down here and sit on our patio while his son Bruce would cut our grass. now he is sitting in heaven next to our heavenly father. he would always tell us stories about his fishing times down at the lake. he always had a smile on his face, he was a good man. i will be praying for his soul and for the family.

Uncle Dick was the father figure I never had growing up. Memories of camping on Black River, fishing in Chester, and collecting firewood on the farm will never leave me. Today I can still hear him playing Froggy Went A Courting on his banjo. Uncle Dick you will be missed by everyone, but never forgotten. Love Shirley
