Barbara Arleen Heger (nee Feager) passed away in her home on March 8th, 2026 at the age of 83.

She was born in St. Louis, Missouri on February 4th, 1943.

Barbara was predeceased by her loving husband Raymond H. Heger, and her beautiful daughter Sandra K. Heger Parey.

She will always be lovingly remembered by her children: Michael R. (Peggy) Heger, Scott D. (Starr) Heger, Sue A. (Michael) Rollins, Cynthia M. (Brian) Boultinghouse, and Connie L. (Daniel) Saitz; her grandchildren: Dylan Heger, Sarah Heger, Dane Heger, Samantha McCormick, M. Nathan (Kendra) Rollins, Connor Rollins, Melissa (Kevin) Mantels-Seeker, Andrew (Lindsey) Parey, Lauren (Jeremy) Dye, Anna Saitz, and Elizabeth Saitz; her great-grandchildren: Lila McCormick, Henry McCormick, Isabella Bader, Miya Parey, Kyleigh Dye, Madilyn Dye, and Josie Dye; and by her brothers, sister-in-laws, cousins and friends.

A loving daughter, sister, niece, cousin, wife, mom, grandma, great grandma, and friend to all. She loved to bowl and was pretty good at it, craft, read, watch Jeopardy and mystery shows, and do her puzzles. She was a lifetime member of the United Methodist Church. She enjoyed getting together with her former classmates from the Mehlville High School Classes of 1960 & 1961 (she graduated a year early). She went to school to become an EMT. Before she officially retired, she worked for the Special School District and enjoyed sharing stories about all the wonderful students that would ride her bus. In her last days, she loved spending time with her family, and she will be greatly missed.

A Memorial Service will take place on April 18th, 2026 at 11AM in Sunset Memorial Park and Mausoleum (10180 Gravois Road, St. Louis, MO 63123).

Anyone who wishes to attend will meet at the East Gate by the Cemetery Office no later than 10:45AM to line up.
