Barbara Marie Boisseau, suddenly on July 22 at the age of 53. Beloved daughter of the late Sarah Cook (nee Birmingham) Granddaughter of the late Lucille Birmingham. Mommy to her precious puppy dog Layla. Cherished big sister to Belinda Cook, Mike (Diane) Cook, Cynthia Cook Lewis & James Cook. Most special cousin to Tracy Lou Birmingham. Dear Aunt, Great Aunt, friend to many and stranger to none. Barbara so enjoyed her job at Denny’s restaurant where she worked as a waitress for many years. She had a great fondness for her costumers and developed many wonderful friendships over the years. Barbara will be deeply missed but, her sprit, wisdom and love will continue to touch the lives of her family and those who were blessed to have known her. The family wishes to express our sincere gratitude to the staff and customers at Denny’s for their overwhelming gestures of kindness. You truly were an extended family to Barbie and we offer our condolences to you knowing how much she will be missed by you all. A memorial and birthday celebration will be held Sunday August 5, 2012 3:00pm at the McKnight Crossings Church of Christ 2515 S. McKnight Road, St. Louis, MO 63124
My husband and I and many of our friends developed a friendship with Barbara at Denny’s. It wasn’t until this past Sunday when we went to Denny’s that we found out that she had passed away. We are deeply sorry for your loss. She never ceased to amaze us that she remembered what we liked to drink from one visit to the next. She had a superior brain that could remember eight people’s order down to the last detail without writing anything down. Please accept our condolence and love for Barbara….only wish we had known so we could have attended her memorial celebration. God bless. The Lambs
