Barbara C. Peavler (nee Usher) passed away on March 20, 2024.  She was born in Hannibal, MO on February 24, 1941.

She is preceded in death by her parents Robert L. (Scoop) and Mary (nee Gillooly) Usher, and brother Robert Usher.

Loving mother of Rod (Judy) Peavler and Leia (Keith) Strothcamp; loving grandmother of Dustin (Holly) and Kyle (Alex) Strothcamp; dear great-grandmother of Colton, Weston, Hayden, Hunter, Camden, Nolan, and Rori Strothcamp.

Her favorite times were helping to take of her grandsons; especially Friday nights having Papa John’s pizza and watching the TV show Cops.

Barbara loved crocheting, cross-stitch, and making gifts for her family and friends.

She was an avid lover of her dogs and grand-dogs.

The family would to thank the staff at BJC Hospice Evelyn’s House for their exceptional care.

A private family service will be held.
