Barbara Hughes
Barbara Hughes passed away on February 9, 2023. Barbara was born on October 18, 1942 in St. Louis, MO to Edith and Frank Keppler. She was the youngest of their nine children; Mary, Daniel, Jonathan, Thomas, Eileen, Charles, Francis and Donald. Barbara loved her family and thought it was the most important thing in her life. Former wife to William Hughes and daughter-in-law to William and Rose Hughes.
She was a beloved mother and is survived by her children William (Rachel), Catherine Hughes-Ellsworth (Stephen) and Colleen King (Oliver). She was a Grandmother to Timothy, Nicholas, Lillian and Sophia, Great-grandmother to Areanna, Juleanna and Timothy, and Great-great-grandmother to Dexter. She was a cherished aunt to all of her nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, March 10 at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, 15 Forest Knoll Dr, Fenton, MO 63026.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.

I always loved talking and laughing with my Aunt Barbara Ann . She Always put a smile on my face You will truly be missed
I have some great memories of Aunt Barbara. I know she will be missed. I am sorry I won’t be able to attend her funeral, as we are leaving for vacation on that same day. Please know I will be thinking about all of you and you all will be in my prayers.
