Barbara Shoemaker

Barbara Delores Shoemaker, a long-time resident of St. Louis, MO., passed away surrounded by family on Sunday the 26th of February at SSM St. Clare Health Center. Born in 1936 in Potosi, MO. Daughter of James and Ellen Brown (deceased). Working in I.T./Computer Processing for most of her work life. AT&T for 15 years and then at various banks in I.T. for the next twenty years. She took multiple college courses always looking to educate herself more. She received her real estate brokers license and started her own business. Her passion was helping first time home buyers. She worked in real estate until her last days. Her favorite treat was a cold Pepsi with Imo’s pizza! Her passion was spending time with her family and studied the Bible daily. She was predeceased by her husband, Vernon Luther Shoemaker. She is survived by her Daughter, Karen Shoemaker Michaels, Sons, Steve Shoemaker, Mike Shoemaker, and Siblings, Brenda Scott, Norma Fagan, Loretta Daly and Harold Brown. Barbara had one deceased Sibling, Jimmy Brown. Barbara was very proud of her 6 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren.
