Barbara Wolff Sippel (Babs), 89, of Ladue, Missouri passed away on 3/13/2017. Babs was born in Pittsburgh, PA to Norman & Thelma Wolff. She attended the Unv Of Pittsburgh School Of Bus. as one of the first female students(1949). Babs’ careers included modeling for Shell Oil Co’s advertising campaign in the 40’s. She married Carl in 1951 moved to St. Louis in the late 1950’s. They raised three children and were very active in the community. She was involved in the Children’s Art Bazar, Junior League, St Louis Art Museum, Botanical Gardens and countless charities and committees. Babs is survived by sons Jeff (Judith), Greg (Wendy), John (Meg), grandchildren Scott, Elizabeth, Peter, Jack, Cutter, Wyatt and brothers Norman (Joanne), Jack and other family and friends. Babs is preceded in death by her husband Carl in 2005. Memorial donations to American Cancer Society.
