Beatrice Staten

Beatrice Staten (nee Ramey) was called home to heaven on July 2, 2022. Bea was the former wife of Donald T. Staten (deceased); beloved Mother of Donald B Staten (Linda), Janet R. Marler (Colin), Susan D. Pallarito (Randall), and Joseph G. Staten (Karen). Bea was born in Trenton, TN to the late Robert Bell Ramey and the late Myrtle Menervie Belch.

Bea was dearest sister of Dorothy, George (Elsie), Betty, Charles (Nancy) and Ruth; half sister to Joyce, Anna (Roger), Nita, and Earl; dear daughter-in-law to Florence; caring aunt to many, especially Debbie Cox; caring great-aunt to many including Kenneth Cox (Sarah); cherished grandmother to Donald E. (LiAnnie), David Marler (Gloria), Timothy Woodburn, Cheri Mahaffey (Rick Young), Jennifer Huddleston (John), Pamela Quinn (Jeff), Kimberly Akers (Dave Smith), the late Julia Staten, Katie Feldmeier, Gregory Staten; affectionate great-grandmother to Donnie Lee, Tyler, Autumn, Josue, Matthew, Claire, Seth, Alex, Austin, Andrew, Kayla, Ashlyn, Dallas, Addison, Nicole, Lia, Danny, and Bryn; and great-great-grandmother to seven. In addition, Bea was a dear friend to many and an inspiration to all.

Bea loved her family deeply and supported all of them, no matter what. She loved to send cards for everyone’s birthday, Christmas, get well, congratulations or sympathy. She took great pride in her appearance and looked her very best, every day. She was happiest at family gatherings, activities with her friends, and playing Bingo. She will always be remembered fondly for kindness to others, her colorful apparel with matching bows she wore in her hair, and an occasional Amaretto Sour.

There will be no formal funeral service at our loved one’s request.
A Celebration of Life gathering will be held at Crusoe’s Restaurant, 5591
Oakville Shopping Center (at Baumgartner), St. Louis, MO. 63129 on
Sunday July 24, 2022 from 5 – 8PM.
