Bernice Fowler

Bernice Pringle Fowler was the first child born to Oderian Pringle Moore and Prince Carmack on March 11, 1950, in St. Louis, Missouri. Bernice was preceded in death by her father, Prince Carmack, mother, Oderian Pringle Moore, stepfather, Augustave Moore, brothers, Ricardo Carmack and Earl Carmack, sister, Laura Carmack, her great-aunts, Creselle Taylor and Omearion Pringle, and uncles: Harvey Taylor and William Pringle.

Bernice had a strong belief in GOD, and she accepted JESUS CHRIST as her Lord and Savior at an early age.

Bernice attended Carver Elementary school and Beaumont High School where she graduated in June 1969. After graduating from high school, Bernice began working many jobs ranging from housekeeping to janitorial positions. Her final position that she worked in was with Famous Barr in the warehouse as a Material Handler and she retired at the end of December 2010 after years of dedicated service to Famous Barr.

Bernice transitioned from this life on Wednesday August 5, 2026.

She leaves to cherish her beautiful memory: daughters-Cheryl L. Fowler and Stacey L. Fowler, two sisters: Beatrice P. Vasser (Henry L. Ballard, Sr.) and Lennie Carmack; brothers: Renaldo P. Carmack, Michael L. Carmack, and Arthur F. Carmack; a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
