Our Aunt Betty was the very best! She always had a smile and something nice to say. And then, of course, her humor!! Truly loved life and her family!! She will be greatly missed. I am so happy that I got to do FaceTime with her two days before her passing. And she was funny right to the end! I love her. And I love the photos!

I remember Aunt Betty as always being so kind and she had a quick wit to make jokes.
She surely has made her path to heaven and now she and Jay will be together again.
I am so sorry for your loss.
May she rest in eternal peace .

Betty and Justin were members of St. Thomas the Apostle Parish in Florissant, Missouri. They were active parishoners who educated their children in our parish school. Catholic education and principles were primary focus in their children’s lives. My husband and I were blessed to be their neighbors and parishoners. As parish middle school teacher, the Knapp family impacted my life through their valued Catholic upbringing and their thirst for knowledge. Always, Betty lived an exemplary, devoted family life. Her warm smile radiated love. May Betty Rest in Peace.

Condolences to you and your family. Your mom sounds like she was a great gal with a giant heart and lived a wonderful life!

Cherish your many fond memories of fun times shared. Betty will get to celebrate Christmas 🎄with Jesus this year…

BTW, my mom also was a devout Catholic who loved playing bridge and was born in 1926…. Greatest generation for sure

    Patrick,
Our prayers are with you and your family. May your mom’s soul rest in eternal peace and may perpetual light shine upon her. She was a member of the greatest generation and lived through much of modern history, including the Great Depression, WWII, Korean war, Vietnam war, and human space exploration.

Sorry and sad to hear about Betty. She lived a long life and was a great aunt and wonderful woman. A loss to her family and ours. Betty was always inviting us to stay with her when we were in town. We enjoyed our visits with her there and in Florida .
    We will miss her

I tap danced with Betty. She was such fun and had that natural smile that was required of a tap dancer. After our group broke up, I visited her at her St. Charles villa, then at Sarah Community in Bridgeton. She rode with me twice to the annual play at Nerinx that was put on by Father (forgot his name). She was a joy to be around no matter her age and she was a good tapper.
