Beverly Ann Kluba
KLUBA, Beverly Ann (nee Vogel), passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at 82 in St. Louis, MO. She was born in St. Louis on September 23, 1942, to Earl F. and Ann M. Vogel (nee Ogrinc). She married Paul Joseph Kluba on May 23, 1964. Together, they raised four children: Paul A. Kluba (Lisa), Anne M. Oller (David), Robert J. Kluba (Renee), and John A. Kluba. Her legacy includes an extended family that will miss her as a loving mother, sister-in-law, grandmother, aunt, and friend.
Beverly was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Paul J. Kluba (12/20/1940–5/09/2024), and by her brother, Earl F. Vogel, Jr. She was a Dear sister-in-law to Donna (Earl) Vogel, Terry Ramsbottom (Nile), Denis Kluba (Karen), Joanne Kluba, Jan Hawn (Jim); Dear grandmother of Sara & Casey Mason, Stefanie Kluba, Samuel & Andrea Kluba, Sydney Kluba, Sophie Kluba, Spencer Kluba, Nathan & Amanda Oller, Benjamin Oller, Shawn Harper & Kristen Snodgrass, Wyatt & Emily Kluba, Hannah Kluba, Paige Kluba, and Griffin Kluba. Dear great-grandmother of Aliyah, Addison & Audrey Lorenson, Joshua Harper, and Joel Mason. She was a Dear aunt, cousin, and friend.
Beverly was baptized into the Roman Catholic Church and confirmed in her faith, having received six of the seven holy sacraments of His Church. Beverly and her husband Paul maintained contact with high school friends who shared their love for playing cards, dominos, Doo-wop ’50s and ’60s music, margaritas, and Mexican food. After retirement, she and Paul were active seniors who loved traveling, attended Queen of All Saints parish, enjoyed their weekly card group, and dined with great friends. She will forever be remembered for her Catholic faith, her cultivation of plants, her love and loyalty to family, and how much she enjoyed gathering her loved ones together.
Like her husband before her, her “Gift of Body” to Saint Louis University’s Medical School will allow training for future doctors. Eventually, her remains will be cremated and buried at the University Plot at Sts. Peter and Paul cemetery.
A memorial mass and celebration of life is scheduled for November 23rd at 10:30 am at Queen of All Saints parish. If desired, contributions can be made in her name to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul of St. Louis at www.svdpstlouis.org
