Beverly D. Sims
Beverly D. Sims, age 58, died at Veteran’s Memorial Hospice, Jefferson Barracks, St. Louis, MO on 15 May, 2014.
Born 1955 in Chicago, IL, to Russel Ray and Dolores N. Kirby, she attended St. Ignatius Elementary School and Sacred Heart High School. She graduated from high school in 1974.
Beverly served in the U.S. Navy until 2002 after 24 years of honorable service. She retired as a Chief Hospital Corpsman.
Her last city of residency was St. Charles, MO.
Beverly was a member of the American Legion and a parishioner of Assumption Catholic Church.
Survivors include her mother, Dolores N. Kirby of Phoenix, AZ; daughter, Erica N. Sims of St. Charles, MO; sisters Nancy D. Bolon of Knoxville, TN and Delora R. Kirby of Scottsdale, AZ. She was preceded in death by her father, Russel R. Kirby of Chicago, IL.
Relatives and friends are welcome at Jefferson Barracks Veterans Cemetery, St. Louis, MO on Monday, May 19, 2014 at 1:00 p.m.

Chief Sims treated her Sailors like shit. Glad she’s gone and that she never made Senior Chief, like I could have if it weren’t for her.
