Beverly Jean Dailey

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Beverly Jean Dailey (“Nannie”), who died peacefully surrounded by her family on May 19, 2026, in St. Louis Missouri, at the age of 94. Beverly was born November 12, 1931 in St. Louis.

She was a graduate of Soldan-Blewett High School and went on to have a successful career with General Motors Corporation.  Beverly enjoyed traveling.  She went on many wonderful trips & adventures both in the USA and abroad.  She also enjoyed gardening, visiting with friends and neighbors as well as decorating. Most of all, Nannie loved her family and always looked forward to spending time with them.

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Ruth Ross, her brother, Donald, and her husband, William F. Dailey Jr.  She is survived by daughter, Karen Bell, and son, Tim Dailey (Julie), and her grandchildren Sara Klenofsky (Joe), Amy Holborow (Jason), Billy Bell (Anna) and great grandchildren Joey and Kate Klenofsky, Jack and Ayla Holborow, Drew and Nathan Bell.

A private immediate family only, service will be held on June 2, at Holy Cross Cemetery.  A celebration of Beverly’s life will be held at Baxter Ridge Clubhouse at a later date-TBD.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Rebecca Wiesehan and the staff of the hospice wing at Missouri Baptist Hospital who provided loving care with much compassion.  Also, we want to thank Canine Officer, Sam Goodman and his sweet dog, “BOO” for coming to visit and comfort her.

In lieu of flowers, memorials or donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the Humane Society of Missouri.

Beverly was a kind and super lady. Growing up in the late sixties and seventies, Beverly was like a second mom to me, and she would say I was like a son to her. She always showed kind interest in what I was doing with my life. She and my mother n law became very close friends as well. Tim and Karen (and Julie) did an amazing job caring for her the past 10 years. God Bless all of you.
