Beverly S. Puffer
Beverly Sue Puffer (nee Gibbs) of Sullivan, passed away on February 25, 2023 at the age of 70. She was born on January 14, 1953 in Kirkwood, MO. She is preceded in death by her parents Claude and Jane (nee Bien) Gibbs and her husband Charles Puffer III.
Lovingly remembered by her son, Charles Puffer IV (Tracie), daughter Courtney Morrison (Raymond), sister Betty Miller and her granddaughter Morgan Puffer.
Beverly helped so many in her life with her generous heart. She will be forever missed and is very loved by her family and friends.
Private services will be held at a later date.
Dear Courtney and Charles IV, I was best friends with your Momma from when we met in 3rd grade at East Franklin Elementary School (now Coleman School) and was even in her wedding to your Dad. I moved to California a year after we graduated and we unfortunately lost track of each other. Without knowing, we both named our daughters Courtney; how’s that for happenstance?! Your Momma was a true and trusted friend and I loved her like a sister. I have been thinking of her a lot these last few months and was deeply saddened when I googled her and found her obituary. I know your Daddy died long ago; he was your Momma’s first and only love. As a side note, your Grandfather Charles Jr delivered me (along with several siblings) and was our family doctor until he retired. I wish both of you the very best in life. When you see your Aunt Betty, tell her Susy and Joni Busse send their love (my little sister and Betty were best friends growing up).
