Bill Armstrong of St Louis MO at age 81 peacefully passed away at home surrounded by family on Thursday July 11, 2019.  He was born in Mill Springs, MO on January 14, 1938. He was proceeded in death by his parents Roscoe Armstrong and Dorothy Turnbough Armstrong.

Bill was a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, a friend and loving cousin to many.

Bill was a proud independent truck driver for over 40 years. He enjoyed “loafing” around from St Louis all the way to Florida. Anyone that knew Bill, knows that his passion was his vehicles, washing and polishing them before he hit the road. Bill was known for BBQing a mean porksteak. The gatherings on Victor street and Michigan are always a good time.

Anyone that knew Bill, knows he did it his way.

A very special thank you to Bill’s caregivers Pam Godfrey, Susan Godfrey and Sue Ader, without your care, compassion and help we would not have been able to keep him at home.  To Mercy Hospice team, thank you for your support and special thanks to Katie and Tonya for your compassion. The biggest thank you goes to my brother Billy, without you Dad would not have been able to live his final years and last days at home. Even though Dad was unable to tell you, he loved and appreciated you. You are my true hero. Love you, Linda.
