Robert (Bob) T. Grothe, Sr. passed away January 7, 2014 at age 84. Survived by wife Mary Ann (nee Speraneo) Grothe, Daughter Judith Ann (Grothe) Cullen, son Robert Grothe Jr. and beloved grandchildren Cory Cullen, Rachel Cullen, Tyler Grothe and Lylah Grothe, son-in-law Christopher Cullen and daughter-in-law Jacqueline (Ferman) Grothe.

Bob retired as a Logistician for the US Army. He was a proud veteran of the US Air Force.

Robert, being a kind soul, gifted his body to St. Louis University Medical School. There will be a memorial service for him at a later date. In lieu of flowers, masses preferred to the St. Peter Catholic Church in St. Charles, MO or a memorial donation to the St. Louis Children’s Hospital would be appreciated.
