Bobbie Lee Weldon, of Cedar Hill, Missouri, passed away peacefully on May 2, 2025.

Born on December 2, 1934, in Roscoe, Missouri, Bob was the beloved husband of Ruth Weldon, father to Christine Rodgers (Jim) , Kevin Yarnell (Christi) and the late Jeffery Yarnell, cherished grandpa to Nicole Bimslager (Ben), Tyler Rodgers (Alyssa) and the late Jessica Yarnell and the best GGPA to Gabriella and Declan Bimslager .Bob was the only child of Sam and Rita Weldon, both of whom preceded him in death.

Throughout his life, Bob was known as a dedicated family man, a loyal friend, and a steadfast leader. He was a strong and respected father figure to many, especially to a close-knit group of men who admired him greatly for the guidance and support he provided throughout the years.

Travel was one of his greatest joys, and in his later years, he and Ruth found comfort in recalling the journeys they once took. Some of Bob’s fondest memories were spent at the cabin, where countless good times were shared with friends and family, a place that held a special place in his heart.

He will be remembered not only for his love of his family but also for his kindness, integrity, and the joy he brought to everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Rather than a traditional funeral, a celebration of life will be held to honor Bob. Details regarding the time and date will be shared soon. The family warmly invites all who knew and loved Bob to come together at that time to remember his life and the countless ways he made a difference.

He will forever be in our hearts and his legacy will continue to inspire all who knew him and his memory will live on through every hug, every story, and every moment we share.
