Bobby G. Ward

Bobby G. Ward passed away peacefully at home on October 22, 2024 at the age of 90 surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his devoted wife of 68 years, Madonna L. Ward (nee Watson). He was born on July 21,1934 in Lafe, Arkansas to the late Clifford C. Ward and Noda L. Ward.

Bob is lovingly remembered by his five children: Keith (Cindy) Ward, Karen (Mike) Loomis, Kevin (Brenda) Ward, Carol (Brad) Hohenstreet and Brian (Michelle) Ward. Bob is also the treasured grandfather of seven grandkids: Jason (Jodi) Ward, Michelle (Adam) Goldsborough, David (Sarah) Ward, Caitlin (Charlie) Shilharvey, Lauren (Mike) Hollander, Candace (Andy) Arb and Sienna Hohenstreet. Bob was sweetest great grandfather to13 great grandkids and another one on the way.

Bob was preceded in death by his siblings: Harold “Bill” Ward, Marjorie F. Tritch and Dolores Roush White.

Bob proudly served in the United States Army from March 1957 to March 1959, rising to the rank of Specialist E4.

Bob was a proud teamster and drove a truck for Schnucks Markets for 32 years. He loved to fish. He took many trips to Canada and loved fishing from his dock and entering tournaments at the Lake of the Ozarks. Bob loved going to the casino with his wife, Donna. He never won the big money playing the slot machines, but he did win the big jackpot of life.

Bob was a happy, humorous man who loved to spend time with his family. He will be lovingly remembered by all who were blessed to have known him.

Bob will be laid to rest at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery at a later date.
