Daughter of the late Frank and Ruth Stoder. She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Donald Boekemeier. Mother of Laura Boekemeier and Beth Hardy (Stan); grandmother of Emma Hardy; dear Aunt and Friend. Dorothy attended Indiana University receiving her Masters in Elementary Education and taught 3^rd grade for many years. She enjoyed playing bridge, writing novels, and spending time with family and friends.

Services: A celebration of life will be held Sat July 9 at 2:00 pm at The Willows, 213 S. Woods Mill Rd., Chesterfield, MO 63017. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Humane Society of MO. A private family burial service to be held at a later date.
