Bonnie Sue Howard

Bonnie Sue Howard (nee Rosh), lovingly known as Bunnie, peacefully passed away on April 21, 2025, at the age of 77, with Ron, Jerry and Niki by her side. She was predeceased to Larry Howard, which she was married to for 51 years. She was a wonderful loving mother to Jerry Howard and Niki James (Howard), awesome Nana to Brady and Tyler James, best sister to Ron Rosh (Cindy deceased) and sister in law to Jack Howard (Linda) fun loving aunt to Renee (Erik) Dague, Michael (Tricia) Rosh, Kelley (Corey) Musiol, Brian (Dana) Veselske, great aunt to Ethan and Aidan Dague, Logan and Adam Rosh, Megan Musiol, and Jessica and Logan Veselske.

She was a friend to many (that is an understatement) and loved spending time with them all.

The countless memories made over the years will never be forgotten! The trips to Mexico, Las Vegas, Arizona and the list goes on. We certainly all got our share of eye rolls from Bunnie!!

Bonnie left a huge impact on everyone she met, her contagious laugh and how she cared for others before herself.

In her later years she was a receptionist at St. Michael School Clayton and cherished all the kids and the faculty at the school, she loved working there and the kids brought her so much joy!!!

She was so loved by everyone at St. Michael’s, the school started a fundraiser to build a new library, Bonnie Howard Memorial Library. What an honor to an amazing wonderful human being!!

We will be planning a Celebration of Life, details to follow soon. Thank you all who knew Bunnie, who loved her and made her laugh, she was one of a kind!

I shared so many great times with Bonnie over the years. We made each other laugh until tears rolled down are faces. She was a friend who I could always count on. Especially through some difficult times in life. Words cannot express how much she will be missed. She was without a doubt “one of a kind”. I know she is now with “her larry” and there is comfort knowing they are reunited. But life will never be the same without her. My heartfelt condolences to Niki, Gerry, Brody, Tyler, Ron, Renee and the rest of the extended family.

Well I am definitely getting an eye roll and a Nicole Anne! I put my Uncle Ronnie as her brother in law and not brother…she is 1000% saying Good God Nicole and probably telling my Dad to stop laughing!
Sorry MOM! I will get this fixed
We all love and miss you terribly 💔

We offer our most sincere condolences to Bonnie’s family during this very difficult time. There were definitely times throughout all of our years growing up together when Bonnie would drive her brother Ron and I to tears laughing following some silliness that took place around the house. Bonnie was always a tremendous amount of fun, and she too loved to laugh especially at Ron and myself. In one instance of the many that I look back on we always called my grandfather “Charley”. When Ronnie was at home at their house talking about “Charley” Bonnie wanted to know Who is this Charley guy I thought Curley’s brother’s name was John? I explained to her that “Charley was my grandpa. When she responded with “Why in the world would anyone ever call their grandpa “Charley”. I told her because that’s his name! Sometimes we even call him Mr. Hedigan! With that Bonnie graciously replied ” I’m not even going to ask” as she left us with That All Too Familiar Look” and simply walked away laughing to herself. Bonnie was such a very kind and gentle soul who always had the very best of intentions and she will forever be tremendously missed by those of us so fortunate to have known her.
    Curley.

Bonnie will definitely be missed. Her energy was boundless and she was the organizer for our Cleveland girl lunches. She would organize everything, contact everyone and on the way to lunch she would announce she changed the restaurant. We just learned to live with it and always had a good time. She was dearly loved by all her family and friends. Heaven has a bright new star now!

My Dear Very, Very Special Friend, I am beyond sad that she had to slip away from us too soon.

As others have said, Bonnie was always there to help, always there to share and I might add always early. I also experienced the eye roll and let’s go here and not there.

Our friendship began in our young teens. I feel very blessed to have had Bonnie in my life and will cherish so many memories.

Bonnie loved her family and made time to stay close to them. She also made time for her extended family and spoke of many memories with her brother Ron and cousins.
She also made the time to keep in touch with her many friends.

Jerry, Niki and family. I am very sorry that you have to feel this sadness and pray that you will all find peace in the memories that you hold in your heart.

I love you Bonnie, and your memory will always be in my heart.
